Western Michigan Police Chief Accused of Sexual Assault

Sexual assault charges have been filed against a western Michigan police chief.
State police investigated 48 year old Fremont Chief Randall Wright after a woman on a private bus trip to Tiger’s Stadium with Wright claimed the chief sexually assaulted her June 5. Wright is charged in both Ingham and Kent counties as the alleged assault took place in both locations.
Fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct is a misdemeanor with a sentence of up to two years in prison.
