Saginaw’s 8th Homicide of 2024 Under Investigation

Saginaw police detectives are investigating a Monday morning homicide.

Police responded to the K & D Market on South Jefferson Avenue just after 1:00 A.M. to find smoke coming from the building. Firefighters were able to extinguish a small fire inside, where they discovered the body of a male. The body is currently undergoing an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, though police are ruling it a homicide. No suspects are in custody. The murder marks Saginaw’s eighth of the year.
