Vehicle Hits House in Tuscola County

A 57-year-old man was hospitalized after driving a pickup truck into a house in Tuscola County on Tuesday, December 1.

Police say the Reese area man may have suffered a medical emergency which caused the crash. The man was driving east on Gilford Rd. near Vassar Rd. when the vehicle left the roadway, striking a fuel oil barrel next to the house. That resulted in minimal damage to the home.

There are no reports of anyone inside the house being injured. The man was taken to Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
