Students Moving Into SVSU Campus for Fall Classes

Today is move-in day for freshman on the Saginaw Valley State University campus.

University officials say residence halls will be filled to capacity for the new academic year. About 100 more freshman students will be living on campus than last year, with about 70 percent of incoming freshman choosing to on-campus housing. After the freshman move-in today, other students will be moving in through Saturday.

The website Niche has ranked SVSU’s student housing number 1 in the nation among public universities in its annual “best dorms” list.
