State Trooper Found Guilty of Assaulting Female Partner
A jury has found a Michigan State Police trooper guilty of multiple felonies related to an assault on a fellow trooper. Twenty-five-year-old Adam Muller, who worked road patrol out of the Caro Post, is convicted on charges of assault and battery, obstruction of justice, assaulting, resisting, or obstructing police causing injury and aggravated domestic violence.
Mullin began a sexual relationship with his partner which lasted for about a year, while he was married to another woman. Mullin assaulted the trooper and threatened to kill her February 10. He then suggested staging a slip and fall accident during a traffic stop to cover up the injuries the woman received. The female trooper went to a hospital a couple of days later and told police what happened. Mullin was then arrested. He faces sentencing December 2.
