Saginaw Homicide Under Investigation

The City of Saginaw has had an early morning homicide for the second day in a row.  Michigan State Police and Saginaw Police officers responded to a home in the 700 block of South Woodbridge on a 911 call just after 3:00 a.m., where they found 33-year-old Dionte Howard dead inside his home from apparent gunshot wounds.

The Saginaw Major Case Unit, made up of detectives from the Saginaw PD and the State Police, are investigating. No suspects are in custody. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call detectives at (989) 759-129 or to leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 422-JAIL.

This is Saginaw’s 24th homicide of 2020.
