Saginaw County Jail Inmate Dies

An autopsy was scheduled to determine what caused the death of a Saginaw County Jail inmate early Wednesday morning.

Saginaw County Undersheriff Miguel Gomez said 26-year-old Joshua Aldrich collapsed and was unresponsive about 1:00 a.m. Corrections officers and jail medical staff gave lifesaving treatement, followed by emergency responders from the Saginaw Fire Department and MMR.

Aldrich never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead about 1:45 a.m..
