Protest Planned Over Swan Valley Schools Mask Mandate

A peaceful protest is planned for Thursday, September 16 in response to the Swan Valley School District imposing a mask mandate to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
The protest will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Marvin L. Johnson Administration Center next to the high school. The school recently implemented the mandate after it reported 14 new cases of COVID-19 since last Friday, with around 200 people impacted in some way by the virus.
The protest precedes a Board of Education meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the high school.
