Man Charged in Teacher Assault

A man accused of sexually assaulting a teacher at a school in Bridgeport was arraigned Wednesday, August 21 in Saginaw County District Court.

Prosecutors say 44-year-old William Head of Saginaw was at his child’s school February 14 when he grabbed the teacher, pulled her into a hallway and assaulted her. The teacher reported the incident and a warrant was issued for Head’s arrest. He wasn’t arrested until Tuesday, August 20 when a vehicle in which he was a passenger was pulled over for a traffic stop.

Head is charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and scheduled for preliminary exam on September 9.
