Fire Engulfs Vacant Owosso Building

Fire officials in Owosso are investigating a fire that broke out in a vacant building Thursday, April 1.

Around 9:15 p.m., several departments responded to the former Jumbo’s Burger Bar building, which has been closed since 2019. The building was completely engulfed in flames.

It isn’t known at this time if any of the surrounding buildings were damaged. There were no reports of any injuries.
