Bridgeport Fire Destroys Empty Home

No injuries were reported after a fire in Bridgeport Township Wednesday, February 26.
The fire began just before midnight at a residence in the 4400 block of King Rd. Crews from the Bridgeport and Buena Vista departments were on the scene. Officials say the home was a vacation home owned be a Detroit man. It was unoccupied at the time.
The house is considered a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
