We first talked about this last December when it was announced, and yesterday it finally happened, as an iconic movie was honored…..
WASHINGTON (AP) – Usually the only gala balls you hear about in Washington D.C. are done during presidential inaugurations.   But last night, there was one at the Library of Congress, and the guest of honor was Cinderella.
The Disney princess made her way down the ornate library stairs to greet an audience of children and
adults at an event to mark the movie’s addition to the National Film Registry.
After a screening of the original movie, now 70 years old, Cinderella posed for photos with guests, library officials and others at the mini “ball” thrown in her honor.

A-HA!   You could be a winner with your prediction…..
LOS ANGELES (AP) – Any day now, the video for “Take On Me” by A-ha will pass the one billion mark for views, and the band is holding a contest to that regard.
The contest is not to be the one-billionth viewer, but to pick the date and time of the one-billionth view.   A-ha will fly the winner and a guest to the band’s home country of Norway to meet them and see them perform on February 7.
Make your pick at www.a-ha.com/takeonme .   There are just under 905 million views of the video right now.
