Compared to this, we’ll take a sugar beet spill anytime!   And, you have to love the funny comment at the end of the story…..
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – Talk about someone making a mess on the road.   A tractor-trailer that was hauling pig intestines ended up dumping its load across a downtown highway.   It happened yesterday along westbound Interstate 670 in Kansas City, Missouri.
At least three lanes of the road were closed because of the spill, which had to be cleared away with a truck pushing a snow plow blade to scoop up the porcine innards.
Transportation officials hoped drivers would squeal with delight when they sent out a message to “find an alternate snout”, before correcting their “mistake” to read route.
