Saginaw Woman Injured in Thursday Night Shooting

A Saginaw woman suffered non-life threatening injuries when she was shot at her home Thursday night.

According to police, the shooting occurred around 10:00 in the 2600 block of North Michigan Avenue. Officers and State Police troopers searched the area, but were not able to locate the suspect.

The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police say the woman and the shooter knew one another, and the attack was likely not random.
