Saginaw Police Investigate City’s Fourth Homicide of 2024

Police in Saginaw are investigating the city’s fourth homicide of 2024.

According to Detective Sergeant Matthew Gerow, police responded to the are of Julius and Webber streets around 2:15 Saturday afternoon for reports of shots fired. Officers found 33-year-old Dalance Stephens suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police.

Life-saving measures were attempted, but Gerow says Stephens died of his injuries at a local hospital. No arrests have been made at this time.
