Bay City Department of Public Safety Mourns Loss of Former Battalion Chief

The Bay City Department of Public Safety is mourning the loss of a former member.
The department announced Wednesday that retired Battalion Chief Terry Collins passed away unexpectedly. Collins served for 25 years before retiring in 2017.
In the announcement, public safety officials called Collins “one of the best to wear the uniform,” and said he will be sorely missed.
