Amazing Grace Rescue Shelter Working with Law Enforcement on Sick Animals

The Amazing Grace Animal Rescue in Kochville Township has reached an agreement with authorities after the siezure of multiple animals on Monday.

According to the Saginaw Count Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was issued after allegations of multiple public health violations, resulting in several sickly cats being removed from the property. In the following days, members of the community voiced their support for the shelter. In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the organization stated that everything had been resolved after a meeting with the sheriff’s office, animal control, and department of agriculture.

The rescue will be temporarily closing cat adoption and intake for a few days.
