MSP to Host “ID the Missing” Event

Friends and family of missing persons are invited to an event in Freeland next Monday aimed at providing support and helping to solve some of the roughly 50 missing persons cases in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Michigan State Police say roughly 4 thousand people are missing across the state, and are asking friends and family of those who are missing to bring photographs, dental and medical records, or other information that may help update the law enforcement database. People are encouraged to attend even if they aren’t sure a police report was filed in the disappearance of a loved one.

The “ID the Missing” event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the State Police Tri-City Post at 2402 Salzburg Road in Freeland. Anyone with questions can email MSP dash Missing Persons at Michigan dot gov.
