President Trump has declared a national emergency to allow him to free up funding for a border wall.

Michigan, along with 15 other states, have sued President Trump alleging the emergency declaration exceeds presidential power and unconstitutionally redirects federal money Congress has allocated for other purposes.

President Trump expects this to go all the way to the Supreme Court.
