Suspect Sought In MTA Center Shooting

Police in Flint are investigating a shooting that took place near the MTA Transportation Center Tuesday morning.

Accordng to police, two men were riding a bus in from another city in Livingston County and had gotten into an altercation on the bus. Police say when the bus arrived in Flint, the men got off and the altercation escalated, with both men shooting at each other. One of the men suffered critical injuries, while a woman in her 20s was wounded as well. Police say she was listed in stable condition at a local hospital. The second man fled the scene, according to police.

The MTA terminal closed during the police investigation, and University of Michigan Flint was placed into temporary lockdown.
