Mt. Pleasant Man Arraigned on Sex Crimes

Police arrested a Mt. Pleasant man Thursday, May 19 following a human trafficking investigation.

22-year-old Cody Bunner was arrested going into a residence on S. Washington St. in Mt. Pleasant which was under police surveillance. Bunner admitted to police he believed he was speaking with a 15-year-old girl, saying he took several photos of his genitals and sent them with his phone. Police seized digital evidence at the scene.

Bunner is charged with accosting a minor for immoral purposes and using a computer to commit a crime.
