Kitchen Fire Damages Home In Buena Vista Township

No injuries occurred with losses estimated between $15,000 and $20,000 following a mid afternoon house fire at 3326 Westbrook in Buena Vista Township Monday.
Deputy Fire Chief Aaron Hoeppner blamed unattended food left on the kitchen stove for starting the blaze in the single story dwelling. Fire crews cleared the scene after a little more than an hour.
