Flint Township Police Arrest Vandalism Suspect

A suspect in a recent string of vandalism incidents in Genesee County has been taken into custody.

Last week, during the overnight hours of Tuesday and Wednesday, a number of buildings were damaged and vehicles had windows smashed and tires slashed along Linden Road in Flint Township. Then, police say during the overnight hours from Thursday to Friday, several more buildings on Flint’s University Drive were damages as well.

Flint Township Police located the suspect walking along a busy road over the weekend, who matched the description from images captured by surveillance cameras.

The suspect was arrested and is being held in the Genesee County Jail, awaiting arraignment.
