Body Found In Saginaw River

A woman’s body was discovered in the Saginaw River Wednesday morning.

Police say around 11:00 A.M., an employee in a business near the Genesee Avenue Bridge in Saginaw spotted the body in the water and contacted police. Police say the woman was from the area and was 42-years-old. An autopsy to determine the exact cause of death has been scheduled.

The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
