Bay City Commissioners Adopt E-Cigarette Ordinance Amendment

Bay City Commissioners approved an ordinance amendment Monday making it illegal for businesses to furnish e-cigarettes to minors or for minors to possess those products.

Mayor Kathleen Newsham says local schools pushed hard for the city to act on this issue. Newhsam added putting more teeth into the ordinance language including fines and citations will hopefully reduce e-cigarette usage rates among underage teens.
