Tuscola County Deputy Arrests Man for Meth, Illegal Gun

A man was arrested in Tuscola County last Friday following a traffic stop where police allegedly found drugs and an illegal weapon.

A sheriff’s deputy pulled the man’s vehicle over around 7:00 P.M. in the area of Sheridan and Swaffer roads and saw the man had a warrant out for his arrest. Police say the deputy ordered the man from his vehicle and say a gun holster on the man’s hip when he stepped out. He was detained and police searched the vehicle finding suspected methamphetamines and an unregistered handgun.

The man is being held in the Tuscola County Jail on charges of felony firearm, possession on meth and other charges.
