Saginaw Pedestrian Killed in Hit and Run Crash

Police in Saginaw are looking for a white transit-style van believed to have been involved in a hit and run crash on Tuesday.

Police say around 5:45 P.M., the Ford van struck and killed 55-year-old Edward Nichols of Saginaw in the area of Burt Street and East Genesee Avenue, then fled the scene. Medical responders were unable to save Nichols. The van was last seen heading north on East Genesee. Police say the van will have damage near the front and is missing a black plastic fog light insert. The van also has a dark colored decal along the passenger side and is blank on the driver’s side.
