Recently, Jamal Simmons, former communications director for Kamala Harris, suggested President Biden should resign now, allowing Harris to become the first woman president, having her avoid overseeing her own defeat, and making Biden a transitional figure.
Some say as shocking as that might be, remember there were other calls for him to resign in the past few months, not just drop out of race, allowing Kamala Harris to campaign as the president.
