WSGW OnLine Poll: Extending Last Call in Michigan (results)

(March 3 – 10 )

A state lawmaker has introduced legislation to allow local municipalities to adopt their own rules to extend alcohol sales in bars and restaurants from 2am until 4am.

The thought is not everyone has the same schedule, so it could open up new business, especially for establishments hoping to increase sales as pandemic rules allow.

Some groups are concerned about possible increases of drinking and driving, or fostering addictions by extending hours.
