WSGW OnLine Poll: Electric Vehicles (results)
(September 18 – 25, 2024)
Several recent polls have been released regarding Americans attitudes about electric vehicles.
Even though new rules require about 56% of all new vehicles be electric by 2032, along with at least 13% partially electric, the percentage of Americans ready to buy an EV doesn’t match the requirments. Sales are hitting highs, but still only about three-in-ten Americans are serious in considering an EV purchase.
Some of the reasons for lack of interest in an EV include the price, charging opportunities, driving range, and battery questions.
