New Music Audiobook Features Paul Simon Offering Observations and Insights…..

NEW YORK (AP) – Paul Simon has changed how he sings “The Boxer” so it’s from the third-person point of view.

Simon says in the upcoming audiobook “Miracle and Wonder: Conversations with Paul Simon” he starts now by singing, “A poor boy…a story seldom told.”    He says it’s because he’s neither a boy nor poor these days.

Author Malcolm Gladwell interviews Simon for the audiobook, which features Simon giving his observations on life and playing songs on guitar, with recordings from the archives woven in.   Sting, Herbie Hancock, Renee Fleming, Jeff Tweedy, and Roseanne Cash offer insights as well.

“Miracle and Wonder” comes out November 16.
