Stick a fork in the Woodstock 50th Anniversary concert, as based on this story, it ain’t happening…..
NEW YORK (AP) – The lineup for the Woodstock 50th anniversary concert has been removed from the festival’s website. Instead, a message of “stay tuned” has been posted.
Jay-Z, John Fogerty and Dead and Company have dropped out of the concert.   The lineup also was supposed to feature The Killers, Miley Cyrus, Chance The Rapper, Santana, Halsey and Imagine Dragons.   Billboard magazine
reports Woodstock 50 organizers have released all the acts from their contracts, telling them that they are still invited but not legally obligated to play the festival.
The report states Woodstock 50 is in negotiations to be held in Columbia, Maryland.   With less than three weeks to go before the 50th anniversary, festival organizers have lost a financial backer and a production company, and they have been rejected from two different sites in upstate New York.
