Here are the announced Kennedy Center Honors recipients this year…..
WASHINGTON (AP)  We now know who will be getting this year’s Kennedy Center Honors.
Actress Sally Field, Earth Wind and Fire, Linda Ronstadt, the children’s TV show “Sesame Street” and conductor Michael Tilson Thomas.
The 42nd annual Kennedy Center Honors Gala will be held December 7, and broadcast on CBS on December 15.

Wake Up Song of the Day:    Donna Summer “Bad Girls“.   It’s the Friday Flashback Song!  We “Flash Back” in 10-20-30-40-50 year increments to find Number One Songs at this time that are still remembered today, along with the artists and groups that perform.  Or, Number One Songs that are long forgotten, along with the artists and groups that perform.  On this date, 40 years ago in 1979, Donna was Number One for 5 weeks.   Remember, just a few weeks ago, Donna was featured on another Friday Flashback for her song “Hot Stuff” from earlier in 1979.
