WSGW Morning Team Show: August 15, 2019

It’s a Brand New Day of Programming as the WSGW Morning Team Show is on with Charlie and Dave and Pat and YOU…..

Pat filled in for Charlie today, and started the show with a “Woodstock Medley.” Because it was on this date in 1969 that the Woodstock Music & Arts festival began in upstate New York.

Happy 50th Anniversary, Woodstock!

Talk about arrogance from the world of the Scarlet & Grey:

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State University wants to trademark the word “The” when used as part of the school’s name on university merchandise.

The Columbus Dispatch reports the school submitted a trademark application this month to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The application requests a standard character trademark for the title “The Ohio State University” that would cover various items including T-shirts, baseball caps and hats.

How can Ohio State trademark “The?”

Hopefully, Michigan and MSU will kick THE cans of THE Ohio State University this fall on the football gridiron!

We talked about a Bloomberg article how Generation Z is acting more like their parents–the Gen X generation! Gen Z is different than Millennials. But, they all tend to agree that the Baby Boomer generation is the worst! Yes, the generational fights will always continue.
