From the Gastonia (North Carolina) Facebook Post…..

A 25-year-old woman was charged with the armed robbery of a business after her facemask fell off during the robbery and she was immediately recognized as an ex-employee of the business.
In late October, GPD officers responded to a business on S. York Road for an armed robbery that just occurred.
During that initial investigation, an employee told officers that a female suspect wearing a black face mask came into the store armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded cash from the business and struck the employee in the head with the handgun.
During the assault, the suspect’s facemask fell off and the employee who was being assaulted immediately recognized the suspect as Natasha Otero, an ex-employee of the business.
Otero fled from the store leaving the face mask and handgun behind.
GPD officers obtained an arrest warrant for Otero and she was located and arrested on December 27 after she committed a shoplifting at a local shoe store.
