Wake Up Song of the Day:     Wake Up Song of the Day: Juice WRLD “Lucid Dreams”.   It’s a “Songs that Peaked at #2 Monday”!   Every Monday, we play a song that you may think hit #1, but never did.  Or, perhaps you thought this song never did as well to reach #2!   Juice was only 21 when he died from an overdose.   He was active musically for only fours years, producing four albums, two which went #1.   In 2018, the single “Lucid Dreams” peaked at #2 for two weeks.   The song was kept out of the top spot by Maroon 5 and Cardi B’s “Girls Like You”.   “Lucid Dreams” has over 2.3 billion streams on Spotify, being one of the most-streamed songs on the platform.   As of August 2024, the music video has over one billion views on YouTube.   Juice WRLD said the song was made to be a “therapy session” during a period of relationship problems he was encountering.   Sting actually owns 85% of the rights to “Lucid Dreams,” which features an interpolation of his 1993 hit “Shape of My Heart”.
