Woman Injured In Rear End Crash In Tuscola County

Police in Tuscola County responded to a rear end crash involving a semi truck last Thursday.

The crash occurred around 1:30 P.M. along M-24 in Almer Township. Police say a 44 year old Saginaw woman was driving north in a 2018 Chevy Malibu and attempted to make a left turn into a private drive when her car was rear ended by a 2024 Volvo semi driven by a man from California. The man was cited for failing to stop in an assured clear distance ahead.

The woman was taken to an out of area hospital with unknown injuries.
