Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Grand Blanc Township

A Grand Blanc Township convenience store sold a Powerball ticket worth over $842 million after Monday night’s drawing.
According to the Michigan Lottery, the winning ticket was bought at the Food Castle of Grand Blanc at 3035 East Grand Blanc Road.
Lottery officials won’t know the identity of the winner until that person contacts them to redeem the ticket. The lump sum value of the winning ticket, matching the numbers 12-21-42-44-49 and the Powerball number 01 is $425.2 million.
The jackpot is the tenth-largest jackpot won in U.S. Lottery history, and the second largest ever won in Michigan.
