William Putman Released from Jail, Still on Probation

William Putman, former reality TV star of TLC’s Meet the Putmans, has been released from jail.

Putman was convicted in September for assault and battery after attacking two men on the construction site of a medical facility in August 2021. The facility is on property the Putman family owns and is being built by his construction company, Putman and Sons.

Putman was sentenced to 30 days in jail, though he spent most of that time in the hospital for heart related issues. On Monday, Putman was also found in contempt of court. He did not receive any further jail time but must pay a $7,500 fine. He is also to complete 200 hours of community service and spend a year on probation.
