Weight Watchers Closes Locations in Mid-Michigan

Weight Watchers International has closed several locations in mid-Michigan.

The company recently acquired the franchise businesses in Fenton, Bay City, Midland and Saginaw and closed those locations without warning, according to members and employees. The company provides support and healthy living tips and programs for people struggling with weight issues. The businesses would provide members a place to meet with others in a support capacity.

Meetings will continue virtually for some, but for now, the only physical location in the area is in Flint. It isn’t known if any of the locations will reopen once the pandemic is under control.
