Construction is beginning on a new United Financial Credit Union branch on W. Midland in Auburn following a mid-afternoon groundbreaking Tuesday, June 18.

Credit Union CEO Barbara Appold says the estimated  $1.2 million project will include Interactive Teller Machines near the road, meaning faster service and more privacy for customers. Appold added the Credit Union is working with Saginaw based T-S-S-F Architects and Serenus Johnson Construction of Bay City.

She’s hoping the project will be completed by late fall in time for the year end holidays.
