U.S. Coast Guard Seeks Public Input On Lafayette Bridge Reconstruction

The public is invited to comment about the future of Bay City’s Lafayette Bridge. T
he US Coast Guard is looking for both support and opposition from those who use the Saginaw River on the city’s South End on a Michigan Department of Transportation plan to rebuild the bridge completely. The project would start next April and finish sometime in 2026, costing around 112 million dollars. Comments must be submitted by December 8.
