A man from Midland and a woman from Bay City were arrested in Tuscola County on Tuesday after allegedly stealing a trailer.
The Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office says an Elmwood Township resident called 911 after he saw people trying to take his travel trailer on his home security cameras. The owner was the first person to the scene, and officials say he followed the trailer thieves as they drove away until Deputy Chris Whetstone arrived. The sheriff’s office says the suspects eventually pulled over in Unionville. The 22-year-old male driver from Midland was arrested on Charges for Larceny and Fleeing & Eluding Police. His 20-year-old female passenger was arrested as well.
According to the sheriff’s office, additional charges are being sought.
