Two Men Dead of Apparent Drowning in Gladwin County

Police in Gladwin County are investigating the apparent drowning of two Beaverton men.

Police responded to the 4700 block of Beaverton-Clare Road around 4:00 P.M. Sunday after receiving a report of a truck submerged on a pond on one of the victim’s property. They found 65-year-old Carl Albee and 59-year-old John Frank outside the truck, dead at the scene. While foul play is not suspected, police have ordered toxicology reports and autopsies for the two men to determine their exact cause of death.
