Two Killed In Gratiot County Crash

Police in Gratiot County are investigating a crash that killed two people from Sumner.

Police say the 67-year-old female driver and her 54-year-old male passenger were heading north on Warner Road in Seville Township around 9:15 Wednesday morning and ran the stop sign at the M-46 intersection. A 61-year-old Riverdale man driving on M-46 crashed into the other vehicle. Police say the man may have been speeding. The two people from Sumner were killed at the scene. The Riverdale man suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
