Two Flint Gas Stations Shootings in 24 Hours Leaves One Dead, One Critically Injured
Flint Police are investigating two shootings that took place nearly 24 hours apart on Sunday.
The first incident was at a Flint gas station, which claimed the life of a 20-year-old woman. Police were dispatched to the Marathon station at 7022 North Saginaw Street around 1:45 A.M. where they found Isis Walker had been shot. She was taken to a local hospital where she died of herr injuries. Police say a suspect is in custody, but has not been named at this time pending arraignment.
The second shooting also took place at a gas station. A 25-year-old man was hospitalized after a shooting at the Marathon gas station at 2905 Saginaw Street around 11:00 P.M., according to police, who say the man was taken to a local hospital by a personal vehicle. However, that vehicle crashed on the way, further injuring the victim. Police say the man is currently in critical condition. No arrests have been made at this time.
