Two Carrollton Students Suspended Over Fight, Threatening Remarks

Two Carrollton High School students have been suspended following a fight and threats made against Saint Louis Public Schools.

On January 11 during a wrestling meet at Saint Louis High, two Carrollton wrestlers started a small fight with members of the opposing team, which was quickly brought under control by staff. One of the Carrollton wrestlers allegedly made a threat of violence toward the school after the fight, prompting their suspension. They have been banned from Saint Louis Public Schools and are banned from all school events.

The Gratiot County Prosecutors Office will determine if charges will be filed following a police investigation.
