Two brothers are charged with six felonies each following the largest seizure of crystal methamphetamine in Saginaw County by the Bay Area Narcotics Enforcement Team (BAYANET). 23-year-old Lamonte Drevonn Donald and 26-year-old Quintay Hakeem Donald are charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver heroin, separate counts of conspiracy to commit those offenses and two counts of possession of a firearm while committing a felony.

After a 3-month investigation, BAYANET obtained and executed search warrants on three houses associated with the Donalds. A search resulted in the seizure of 14.4 ounces of crystal meth, one ounce of heroin and two pistols, one of which was stolen. The drug charges both men face carry maximum penalties of 20 years in prison.

The Donald’s were charged June 7 and arraigned June 10 by the Saginaw County Prosecutor’s Office. A preliminary exam scheduled for both men Tuesday, June 25 was postponed to a later date.
