Tuscola County Woman Wins $500,000 On Scratch Off Ticket

A 68-year-old woman is the lucky winner of a $500,000 jackpot on one of Michigan’s lottery scratch off games.
The Tuscola Couty woman, who chose to remain anonymous, bought her winning Luxury Cashword ticket at Ben’s Fresh Market, located at 6233 Church Street in Cass City. At first the woman thought she won $1,000 by matching only nine words, but looked the ticket over again the next day and saw she had actually matched ten words for the grand prize.
The says she plans on using her winnings to pay bills, invest, purchase new furniture, and then save the remainder.
