Trooper Injured in Flint Crash

A state police trooper was injured in a crash in Flint Friday, September 24.

The crash occurred around 8:00 p.m. as the trooper was heading south on Ballenger Hwy. Police say the trooper was driving around some stopped traffic at the Corunna Rd. intersection when a 2015 Chevy Impala made a left turn into the path of the trooper’s vehicle.

The trooper received non-life threatening injuries and was treated at a local hospital. An 18-year-old man and woman in the Impala received minor injuries and refused treatment.
